"Maybe give some credit to Ipswich out of possession? They hassled us, closed us down and limited our options…so we ended up with too much hopeful long ball. Not much, but the ones who chose to mention us were generally positive of our play and tactics. I did think when Morsy was unnecessarily booked within 10 mins it was going to be a nightmare night, yet we calmed down without losing any intensity or purpose. Very encouraging from a new management team who probably couldn't name a Wycombe player a week ago.

Totally! The excellent ITFCanalytics Twitter had it sussed. We realised Wycombe front 2 were man marking Edmundson and Donacien they then moved very wide at goal kicks and kicks from the keeper moving the forwards out of play allowing Woolfy to stroll the ball up the middle of the pitch without being hassled. |  | | |

Exactly how I felt about the Penney booking, though I guess the fact that the player was on the edge of the box and hurtling towards goal, rather than in midfield no-mans land was a consideration. |  |

Amazing how the Wycombe player managed to dance over the slippery cover on the photographers pit and keep his balance, yet his legs turn to jelly as soon as he's near the penalty area. |  | | |

Our closing down as a team was on a different level to anything I have seen from us for a long time. We have not looked as good out of possession as we did last night for a very long time. |  |
