Yes, it's not a major competition, but the inclusion of U21 teams has cheapened it beyond anything else.

In reality these teams are mostly u18s aren't they? These top teams generally loan out anyone decent who is 19-21?

If proper teams didn't lose to them they wouldn't be in it still.......

There is that, unless they manage to stick an ineligible player in there that is! But doesn't that also show how little value the other clubs put on it? It is like a second rate lower league trophy.

Can you imagine how many fans are watching this particular match or what numbers of either club's fans would be keen to go to Wembley to watch their youths in the final?

The sooner we are out of this league and only ever worry about this competition again as an aside to see a few U21 players coming through the better. Do all Premier League clubs bother entering a team at all?
