Don't worry, they said, just pop next door to the Post Office and pay cash into your account there while we look into the problem.

I expect you are not the only one who was not aware, and still is in some cases.
If it helps keep the PO's open then that is not a bad thing, and it will be of help to those reliant on public transport now so many bank branches have closed. |  | | |
