The twitter guy thinks that alumni is /singular/, as he refers to himself as an alumni (sic). I wrote plural rather than singular, like an idiot. My second declension masculine is fairly rock solid, honest guv.
I shall not edit my original post, as I deserve any abuse coming my way.
