Tom Carroll - a game of two halves 08:10 - Feb 23 with 697 viewsDubtractor

He had an odd night last night didn't he? First half, with us in complete control, he looked a quality player and bossed the midfield with Morsy. Second half, with the game turned into a bit more of a scrap (though not Accrington level by any means) and he was a passenger.

It will be interesting to see who partners morsy on Saturday.

He was very good first half - best we've seen from him. Lack of match fitness caught up with him in the second half though.

Too lightweight for some of the hurly-burly of L1.

There was an incident in the second half where he was muscled off the ball, tried to foul them to stop them breaking away and he simply bounced off the Cheltenham player.

As mentioned he is very lightweight.

He needs to play in a team which dominates possession which we did for the first half.

When the game became more frantic in the 2nd half the game didn't suit him

That attempted foul made me laugh.
