Staff additions in the summer 19:14 - Mar 14 with 737 views

I remember McKenna saying a few weeks after he joined that there was the money/autonomy to bring in a few more first team staff of his own if he wanted to and he would see how things go. I take it McKenna is happy with things at the moment to have left it?

Personally, I reckon he he's hopefully having a good long look at his squad, the set up and wider club infrastructure, assessing in full where there's strengths and weakness at both player and club level and will then bring someone in over summer so they can be properly integrated into the club set up, rather than just going to Hoylake Social Club and offering a job to the first half dozen lads to buy him a pint.

I reckon there might be a few in the Chelsea backroom set up who might jump at the chance now. Not first team set up but high quality young coaches/performance specialists who might want a move

Oh definitely - just that now might be a good time to make an approach if he does. I bet there are lots of approaches going into non-playing staff at the minute from different clubs
