Sky commentator just said celtic take a giant leap towards the title..

Looking online it shows there is only 1 game left and celtic 6 points ahead... haven't they won it today then?

What's with that?

the league splits into 2 - top half and bottom half, they thenplay each team once more(?)

it's a weird system as the team that finished 6th may finish 10 points 'behind' the team that finishes 7th in the end

Post split is a bit of a farce - for example it looks like Hearts will have to play a 3rd game away at Ibrox.

The whole league revolves around the gruesome twosome, they have to have 19 home and 19 away games so neither can be seen to have an advantage - that can mean other teams in the top 6 could have 18 home and 20 away.

It's all because the 19/19 split relies on the teams that 'guessed' would finish top 6 do in fact finish top 6 - but I think it's simply based on the top 6 from last season being the same this season. Hearts being a promoted side and sitting 3rd messes that up.
