Famous for nearly starting a riot during U2's 'Zooropa' tour for openly baiting the crowd in Rome. an Irish contemporary of the similarly 'difficult' Luke Haines.

I'm also feeling really really sad. I loved Microdisney like no other band. I think of them as the most London of all bands, even if they were from Cork. 'Everybody is fantastic' like the grotty bits of London in the 80s (which was most of London really), the stained concrete, the drizzle, the football violence and the Irish pubs where you weren't really that welcome.

And then the Fatima Mansions were fantastic too.
