Missed nine league games. From those we won one, drew two, and lost six. Arguably (and there are lies, damned lies, and statistics) that was the difference between promotion and our staying in League One!

The games he's been called up for are all before our pre-season starts. Do well there and we might lose him for the World Cup but that's a bit further down the line.

My only concern would be that he was carrying some knocks towards the end of last season and this isn't giving him much recovery time.
