Big Screen and LED Ad boards on 14:11 - Jul 9 with 1742 views | Mark | LED advertising is one of the things I most dislike about modern football. It is usually set up with flashing and animation to take our eyes off the football and onto the advert. We pay a lot of money to watch football and I think these adverts should just be set up to not be too intrusive.

I think it was Wycombe away last season where I couldn't see the ball half the time because of the digital ads. Glad I sit fairly high up at PR. [Post edited 9 Jul 2022 14:21]

To be fair if the advertising is more entertaining than the game then we are in deep trouble. Wish it was in place when Mick was manger. It would have been a welcome distraction.

It can make you feel physically sick having moving images constantly flashing across your vision. I just hope there’s not an epileptic in the crowd likely to be sent into a seizure by these bloody things. I hate em with a passion!

Like a double baked cheese souffle? Bobby Robson was right, Ipswich fans like a good moan. There are bigger things to moan about modern football that income generating advertising boards.

They can be really disconcerting for the photosensitive. I suffer from that to some degree myself, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and see how, if at all, it affects me at my first game. It's hardly a "Don't get stuck in a corner". Some of those animated ones on TV are really bad.
