When Ashton talked a few weeks back about pushing other clubs academies, etc out of 'our patch' I thought it might take a while.
The Foundation forming a paternship with Haverhill Rovers is exactly the sort of thing that will be needed to do it. Great stuff in my opinion even if it takes a while to reap any rewards

There are a few similar link-ups they've had going for a while, at Needham and Cambridge City off the top of my head and they may have organised others as well. About community primarily rather than academy.

I think it did at one point but I don't think, and others may know more about this, that's the case any more. I seem to remember posts suggesting they had a link with Norwich, although I could be thinking of another local club. | | | |
