It'll be an impressive sight as it'll be the largest launch since the Saturn V but as rockets go it's not great. It's got great lift capacity but it's not reusable at all meaning each launch costs >1bn USD.

If SpaceX get starship working it'll be a far better system, more versatile and you should get 10 launches for the cost of a single SLS, each one with a higher payload capacity.

It’s the stop gap for NASA to get back to the moon and create the resilience and know how for Mars landings while SpaceX refine and get there rocket working regularly. NASA simply had to go back to the moon before China has the capacity to do so.

Saves US tax payers billions in the long term as NASA don’t have to foot the bill for the creation, testing and building of Mars rockets.

Did laugh at the Russians mock up of there replacement for ISS how are they going to build it with crippling sanctions and how are they going to launch and build it in space.
