Judgement day 18:16 - Aug 31 with 606 viewsAlberto_the_frog

With the transfer window soon to "slam shut", I thought I'd look back on our infamous 19 signings from last year, in the order They were rated soon after arrival in this Star article https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/ipswich-town/ranking-new-itfc-signings-8294196
Celina
Loan expired.
As you would expect, some great moments and some uninspiring performances. Or me, a "miss" - just.
Morsy
Club captain and mainstay. To me, looks better now than he did last year. Hit.
Edwards
Still to establish himself, but still has potential as shown last night. I am biased towards this type of player, so for me a hit - just.
Burgess
Fairly reliable when called on. Hit - again, just..
Chaplin
Another who still seems to be improving - hit.
Coulson
Loan ended early. Miss
Bonne
We all now about his amazing start and hugely disappointing second half. Overall, a miss. Loan expired - or is he coming back?
Fraser
Early departure. Miss
Harper
Out on loan. Miss
Piggott
Never got going. Out on loan. Miss
Barry
Loan ended early. Miss
Burns
Great first season. Hit
Edmondson
Must be an early pick on the team sheet. Hit
Evans
Not the best for me,but works well with Morsy. Hard to argue against being a hit.
Walton
Class act. Hit
Penney
Not quite got it. Out on loan. Miss
Hladky
Reasonable cover (I thought he had a good game last night), but the way we moved for Walton showed he hadn't nailed down his spot as expected, so a miss really.
Carroll
One and done. Miss
Aluko
When fit, has something about him no-one else at the club and possibly in the division has. Exceeded my expectations. Hit

So, I reckon 7 likely starters and 3 or 4 good squad players. But is that enough from19 signings?
Over to you.
