Yes, there's a lot of dormant interest in the club which becomes obvious only at times. he 91-92 season showed that and then the sustained winning form of the late 90s really built on that. Since the mid-2000s it's just been little hints of resurgence in 14-15 and (briefly) when Hurst took over but neither of those two endured. |  |

As an Ipswich fan from nowhere near Ipswich, I have always tried my best to indoctrinate my friends who for the most part support PL teams. I've taken so many of them to their first game, got them singing the blues and spreading the gospel and this year it finally seems to have paid off. I get multiple messages every weekend about how well we're doing now; Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, United and Liverpool fans begging for another taste of the Town. It's a great time to be a fan and I'm sure it will get some eye rolls from some, but I'm enjoying it far more than I have since I was a child. |  |
