Tonight's commute watched over by HMTQ 19:37 - Sep 9 with 732 views | Pendejo | Well today's roundtrip I should say. Every digital advertising board had tributes to HMTQ, if it was an everyday thing it'd be the sort of thing fatboy rocketman would do, but no this in respect of our fear departed Queen. Thought it was nice as I passed multiple bus stops etc. then on A4 and M4 as I headed toward my depot near Heathrow (and back again). Really disappointed with postponement of games, unnecessary, better for a minute's silence before game and applause on 70th minute. Hey no those in charge of the game have made their decision. Worse than that, I had to sack someone today I've known for 15 years, I could have done it remotely over Teams, but decided to do it face to face. Felt like I was clubbing a baby seal.

Tonight's commute watched over by HMTQ on 21:17 - Sep 9 with 590 views | Oldsmoker | Takes a lot to sack someone you've known for that long. Of course, if you're a sadist or Thatcher/Truss worshiper then you probably enjoyed it. I had to sack a good mate once. He begged me to do it. We were being taken over by a bunch of Equity buy-out b*stards. We had to trim the workforce prior to the takeover for some reason. The pension fund for all ex-employees was to be fully funded and then managed by a 3rd party. All existing employees joined the pension scheme of the company taking us over. He reckoned that the new bosses were going to bleed the company dry which also meant running a big deficit on the pension scheme. He was right - that's exactly what they did. The old pension scheme is brilliant. It pays out a good pension each month. How do I know this? I get the pension too. They sacked me once I'd trimmed the workforce. ..and no, I didn't enjoy sacking people. ..and I think the postponement of games this saturday is a mistake too.
