Edit...I predict a busy schedule in Sheffield for their visitor from North of the border.

Queue skipping is one thing, we can all have our own view on that. What sickens me though is the constant TV coverage inside. Fine, show the coffin and the vigil so people can see what it looks like, but not everyone filing past, zooming in on anyone known or famous. It robs the occasion of any solemnity. It should be a private moment for those showing their respects.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Just like the snooker finals this is incredibly cheap TV to produce.
3 remote cameras operated from a broadcasting truck parked round the back.
They can beam it (sell) to the world too - if they want it.

If you are offended then you should choose another channel to watch which isn't doing the same boring, endless broadcast. Good luck finding one.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

Angela Rayner and a lot of others did too. I suspect in some instances there are security implications. To quote Goodfellas Henry Hill, ‘I like it this way. It’s better than waiting in line’.

I only mention Theresa as she got praised in a thread on here for "queuing with the ordinary man" which some chose to believe without fact checking!

I’d always assumed she’d avoided the queue. I actually have no problem with that or any serving MPs any more than I do with foreign heads of state. I do have a problem with ‘guest tickets’ for husbands, families, Parliamentary staff, hangers on etc. they should queue with everybody else.
