Away ticket allocations 10:57 - Sep 22 with 1641 views | LegendofthePhoenix | IIRC we took 3,000 to Sheffield on Saturday. EFL rules state that the club must offer a minimum of 2,000 tickets or 10% of stadium capacity if less than 20,000. Does anyone know if we have reciprocal arrangements with other clubs, i.e. we both offer say 10% between the bigger clubs with over 20k capacity? I thought I read on here that Pompey have sold 1900 tickets, so I wonder if we are sticking to the 2,000 limit. I'm not sure Fratton Park holds more than 20k?

We used to give teams the bottom tier too, which I think made it close to 2500, but it seems we don't offer that anymore for some reason - I guess safety standards have changed, it's an ambulant only section now. The allocation at Pompey seems to be the same, around 1900 but they are doing work to the away stand next year I think. [Post edited 22 Sep 2022 11:43]

Barnsley had some fans in the lower tier, I remember a bloke, pretty much topless sunbathing down there, whether he brought the ticket for that section, or snook down there is a different story though!
Away ticket allocations on 11:53 - Sep 22 with 1383 views | textbackup | somewhere like sheff weds, they might as well give as many tickets as we want, that top tier is huge, and not like they'll section a part of it off for home fans. fratton park, i think, can give that whole end for away fans, or section part off for home fans

Pompey's crowd vs Plymouth at the weekend was 19,009 - bigger than any they had last season, so I'm guessing that's their capacity. So no point in us giving more than 2,000 tickets to them as it wouldn't be likely to be reciprocated unless they were going to offer say 15%. Maybe when we play Sheff W we might offer more as they offered us 3,000.

Sheff Wed can also give the lower tier if they really need to.
