Camara, P 10:32 - Sep 23 with 1319 views | chicoazul | Are we seeing this fella anytime soon? Got a good reputation and TWTD was very happy when he signed, but the Banter Era lurks and it’s very banter era to sign an injured player….

He did some training with the group,” McKenna added. "The issue that we knew he had when he arrived was a small issue in his groin that we wanted to assess over a few days’ training and I think the medical team have looked at it and alongside Panutche don’t feel like he’s quite in a position to be able to set himself up to come into games and set himself up for a strong season. "He’s a player who’s had very few injuries in his career and great availability and is going to be a really important player for us. "We’re going to take our time with him, take a couple of weeks to build him up slowly because he’s missed a lot time and he still has a little bit of an issue on his groin, so we want to make sure we do everything right by that and get him to 100 per cent before we bring him into action because it’s a long season and were going to need him. "He’s going to be working away from the team for a couple of weeks just to build that base and he’ll come back into fixtures a little bit later.”

Think I read he's had an operation on his groin? Hoping he will be another shrewd signing like Harness.

Think that was a misinterpretation of those quotes on one of those Football League news sites.

He has definitely had minor surgery to his groin. I suspect that they are just being very cautious and making sure he gets properly fit. Since McKenna has come in the injury side of things really does seem to be managing things a whole lot better. Talk of individual fitness regimes etc which is all very refreshing. Really looking forward to see how he is going to be used/fit into the squad/side as he looks one hell of a player who I was certain would end up in the championship this season.
