Really going to miss him imo these next few months, today showed how we missed his appearence, Davis took the comfort of knowing he;s the only left back available to heart and imo just didn't do anything today.
Ball - think we need to start seeing him, i'm surpised we left both Evans and Morsy on with cards, and think we need to start giving Ball some league time.. I can't imagine it would disturb the flow of the team with his experience.

Imo it's not about what he did wrong, it's more of what he just didn't do.
No backpost runs, no taking on his man to drill crosses in, the one chance he had to float a backpost cross for ladapo he just smashed it.
He's just a different type of LWB to Leigh and he'll rightly have his fans, and that's also why we paid so much money for him, but in our system, imo we need much more of an attacking intent. | |

I think you have to take into consideration we are playing one of the best teams on their home ground.

I wouldn't say it's expecting to much, I think it's having 2 very different LWB's that he's just such a different type to Leigh you miss what Leigh could bring you that Davis doesn't.
I find Davis an almost perfect Left Back, defensively solid ( albeit a few mishaps) but copes well and support well, he's just not for me a LWB, and today he just didn't bust a gut to get forwards imo. | |
