All very positive, and predicted by most that we'll come back fine after the slightly disappointing previous two. Not sure what Pompey had to put them where they are, or if it was a tactical backfire by Cowley? I didn't see the Wednesday game but Pilgrims were a far better outfit than Pompey. Couple of very decent footballers but as a unit they didn't really consistently threaten except for the two penalties. Maybe we defended better... but Pompey didn't press like Pilgims innit?

I found the set up of Pompy bizarre for such a game, almost like Cowley had written the game off before it started.
As you say, Plymouth pressed and tried to stop us controlling the game, Pompy allowed us to get the ball wide with ease and get at them, very strange imo |  |
