perspective 18:23 - Oct 29 with 1234 views | positivity | we've just had 2 away games, our closest rivals have had 2 home games. we've got 4 points, same as wedenesday, the gap remains the same, 2 weeks to the next league game, plenty time to reset. we're still in a great position! Glad I haven't got to travel back from London after that, but yes, circumstances aside a point more than Plymouth got here and indeed we got last season! Really hope that this defensive issue can be tirelessly worked on in the next fortnight.

strangely it's not as raw as usual for me, maybe due to the freak score or the fact we didn't have time to get used to the lead? felt much less gutting than if we'd been leading 1-0 for60 minutes and then let one in... 2 weeks to work on game management and a fun game in the cup followed by a winnable home match to maintain our gap, things are pretty good

perspective on 18:37 - Oct 29 with 1066 views | Churchman | I think it’s fair to say that. My hope at the start of October that we’d be in the mix by the end of the month, when we essentially get a break-ette. Ok, it could and should have been better but we are where we are and we are well and truly in this. We are the real deal this season, even if there is work to be done. The goalkeeper had a poor game - it happens. He’s been excellent so no worries. Game management - we must get a grip of this but the problem is that, not the squad of players which I believe is better that the rest. I desperately want us to run away with this division because we have the players, structure, management and support to do so. Edit: we got the runaround at Charlton just over a year ago. Beaten with ease. Charlton are celebrating a point today. [Post edited 29 Oct 2022 18:47]

We were level for far longer in terms of minutes than we were ahead. It didn't feel like it though. Utterly bonkers match.

perspective on 19:51 - Oct 29 with 809 views | essexpaul64 | I am feeling very positive after this result. We could have easily lost, but we didn’t. We are just one point off the top, and 3 points ahead of third, we still gotta play Sheffield Weds and Plymouth at home and Sheffield Weds still gotta play Plymouth, and in our next few games till Xmas, we are at home 4 times and away twice to Exeter and Wycombe. Win home games and draw one away game and we will have 50 points half way through the season.
