Would just like to remind people 09:50 - Dec 3 with 1645 views | SitfcB | That since 2016 the rule has been that if a player gets injured from a tackle etc and the offending player gets booked, the injured player isn’t required to go off the pitch for a few seconds. Thanks.

Would just like to remind people on 09:59 - Dec 3 with 1571 views | witchdoctor | I think that the rule should go further and booking or not if a player is fouled and has to leave the pitch before being allowed back on the perpetrator ought to join him also…

Would just like to remind people on 20:30 - Dec 3 with 1050 views | Bucklebury_blue | From referees site, 2016...This year’s change, which may have confused the supporters, is that if a player is injured as a result of a physical offence for which the offender is cautioned or sent-off, perhaps a reckless challenge or serious foul play, then the injured player is allowed to remain on the field of play for treatment and not go off after. Providing, the Law says, the assessment and treatment is completed quickly.
Would just like to remind people on 01:39 - Dec 4 with 880 views | FifeITFC | What I don't understand is when a player gets injured in a foul that the ref awards the free kick for, why the attacking team are penalised that the player has to leave the field at all. You're recognised that the player has been fouled, you've awarded them the free kick so acknowledge there's a chance he could become injured from being fouled but you give the free kick but remove the player for a few moments if he has treatment. Just seems unfair that you give the free kick but remove the injured player so there's a numerical disadvantage. [Post edited 4 Dec 2022 2:30]

It is odd that it's only on the production of a card that the innocent party can stay on the field. Like you say, part of the punishment is awarded the wrong way.
