Calling it now, we’re not going to get anything here 16:45 - Dec 17 with 1230 viewsIllinoisblue

Wycombe too solid for us. We’ve been ragged and pretty average.

Calling it with a few minutes to go isn't really in the spirit of calling something Illers!

It’s a cunning plan to trick the football gods… just wait

They've defended well but we really should have had a free kick on edge of their box for blatant foul on Morsey 2 mins ago.

We've lacked a sharp poacher in the box to turn one in from several good crosses/balls in tho.

Pissed off with that result tbh.

I know they played a determined game and credit for that but felt like one of those games we couldn't catch a break.

Not helped by the ref.

We were very poor. Created one good chance in the whole game. Failed to put a good cross in on multiple occasions. A 5/10 day. Another big away following let down again

Wow calling it at 16:45.

Move over Mrs Bankster, we've got a new psychic in town.

Truly impaired.

Thought we were fine up until the final third where we seemed to forget how to put a decent ball in. Burns looked well off it today, although I thought Ladapo and Jackson were effective but not given much to work with.

Ref was weak as. Can't stand Wycombe or Ainsworth so found it all the more nfuriating, but had a bit of luck with the Wednesday result and finish the day second. Not what we needed before a packed out Portman Road on Boxing Day. Going to need to get behind them so we can put this past us and feel a bit more confident before heading to Pompey.

Credit to Wycombe. They played to their game plan and played it well. It’s the way to get something from a game against us and they got it. Clean sheet against a team top of the league - job done. We dominate possession but rarely do we comfortably win games. Most of our opponents are in a game against us right to the end.

Three changes to the team today - injuries are killing us. We also lack something in the final third. I know we’ve scored a lot of goals and we are second, but I had hoped with the quality we have on the ball that we’d start to move away. It’s not happening.

If we could add an alternative to what we have up front, preferably a goalscorer, I reckon we could do this comfortably. If we don’t, we may well have to settle for play offs.
