The league has to crack down on this, it really is getting so blatent

It was either their 28 or 20 that had a word in his ear about 5 minutes before he went down and then did it again with a different player later on.

Thing is all the ref can really do is add on a chunk of time at the end as they have to treat every injury properly - no way they can just ignore it even if they think the player's time wasting.

It's generally been better with regards to injury time added on this season so a bit of a head scratcher that the ref today only gave 5, especially considering all the other time wasting bits and several subs being made.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

It was pre-meditated by the player that had a word with him.

Ainsworth clearly wanted to have a chat with his players, so got a message to the GK to go down.

To top if off, we only got 5 minutes at the end despite all the substitutions

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

It’s pretty endemic in the game, wherever a side has momentum we see a stoppage in play bought about by the side under the cosh, and perhaps I’m cynical but I think it’s rarely a genuine injury. It’s real sh1thouse tactics but we seem to see it every week. A part of me thinks maybe we don’t do enough of those dark arts, in hindsight maybe Walton should’ve gone down when Charlton scored their 3rd and had their tales up, but frankly it’s cheating.

Undoubtedly. The second time was when their player thought about having a leg problem in the last 10 minutes or so but then realised he was too close to the goal line and would have been told to go off for treatment.

Unfortunately we do need to start doing this, Charlton and Fleetwood we would have seen out if we were a bit more streetwise

The only Muff in Town.
