Charles Bronson 09:18 - Mar 7 with 1023 views | clive_baker | Just seen he's going for parole. Can't say I know too much about the bloke or have much a view on it either way but I read he's been in prison for most of the last 50 years. 50 years! Spending 23 hours a day on his own. I mean he's clearly unhinged, he's staged various protests and taken 11 hostages over his time and committed some horrible crimes, but can't help but feel there's plenty who have served less time. Does his 'celebrity' and notoriety go against his case for release? I mean if you're on the parole board the easy option is to reject it isn't it?

Charles Bronson on 14:42 - Mar 7 with 763 views | Radlett_blue | Bronson - or Charles Salvador, as he now calls himself, first went to prison aged 21 & has subsequently spent most of his life behind bars, largely because of attacks on other prisoners and guards, most recently assualting a prison governor in 2014.He has also spent time at each of Britain.s 3 special psychiatric hospitals. By all accounts. he's still physically in good shape & I find it hard that any Home Secretary would consider him appropriate for release as he still appears to have an uncontrollable temper.

It’s hardly a waste of money if you consider the alternative.

Charles Bronson on 15:57 - Mar 7 with 623 views | BloomBlue | Isn't the issue been that every time he has got near parole he has either beaten the shlt out of another inmate or held someone hostage including prison workers and even his own solicitor? I guess a key part of receiving parole is you're not a danger to the public and given the above it would indicate he was still a danger to the public, hence previously no parole.
