There seems to be a lot of this going on, in both directions. Again, it just highlights the small mindedness of the people behind this stupid idea.

The fact that this one was even used for self promotion on the Government's own website says it all. Watch what they do, not what they say.

I know of performers who won't be working in Europe this summer due to the regulations brought in by Brexit. I suspect it will be the same for less well known musician, bands especially because of how each item requires checks.

The UK is slowly cutting itself off from mainland Europe. Visitor numbers have dropped as have school parties from the EU. Where their ID card was acceptable before, it isn't now. Why spend money and have the hassle of sorting out a passport, for perhaps the one visit ?
