30 goal season for Chaplin? 15:22 - May 5 with 1000 views | gringoblue | Chappers is having one of our greatest goalscoring seasons. One more against Fleetwood and he'll have 30 in all competitions. I don't think anyone has achieved that since Warky in 80/81. Which other players have had 30 goal seasons since we turned professional? Crawford and Phillips?

Johnno of course, finished that season as both ours AND Bury's top scorer. [Post edited 5 May 2023 15:32]

Didn't know that. First year I had a season ticket - was a bit of an upgrade on some of the others we'd had playing up top in the years / months before. Gerry Creaney a particularly poor loan from memory.
