If people want to strike when the iron is hot, and there is so much goodwill around, taking it up with one of Ipswich's councillors would seem the best hope. I know of at least one who is a keen Ipswich fan. And had I got one, and thought it unjust, that's what I would have done.

Of course, there may be some who did parked deliberately, banking on there being no wardens on a bank holiday, but I imagine there are some who just assumed restrictions on a yellow line didn't apply on a bank holiday.

And looking at one of the videos posted, it doesn't look like the streets were awash with illegally parked cars.
