No, I'm not saying he'll come to us. Looks increasingly likely to leave Swansea this summer as he goes into his final year. Looks an exceptional player and still very young, back to back 20 goal seasons in the Championship for a very average side. Been linked with Leeds and Southampton, so a good chance we'll play against him this season.

I'll be interested to see where he ends up, it would be a shame for him to not move to the Premier League in my opinion.

A lack of pace may limit his options in the PL. I wouldn’t be surprised if Martin takes him to S’ton.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Now being targeted by Leicester according to local journalist. Suspect we will see things really kick off in championship with Maddison deal being sorted and creating other deals happening.

Interesting. I think that's where Piroe's level is - top of Championship and it'd only be those clubs recently relegated who could afford him off the back of his last 2 seasons.

Indeed. If we want to sign Hirst he will definitely be available. That Leicester would want to have a player who’s failed twice in the championship, with Rovers and Rotherham, to be part of their promotion push is never going to happen. They have to go up.

We know what he can do and can take more of a risk with him. He along with Simms would be great signings.
