Happy with a point in the end.. 10:23 - Oct 1 with 669 viewsnorfsufblue

But let's not forget that very early chance for Hirsty.... Bury that and it's a completely different game, they were obviously not interested in engaging our high press as their keeper kicked it almost every time, they seem more than happy to launch the ball into upper midfield and take their chances from there and they were quite successful at it tbf..... thats really where we missed Morsy, wouldn't have happened in my opinion if he's in there just being Sam. The pen could have been another turning point in our favour but tbf Hladky has also kept us in at vital times from their point of view. On balance ,take and be grateful for the point and move on.

Hladky made a lot of very good saves.

However, we had a few chances and their keeper made at least one very good save too.

We also should have had a penalty. Their number 4 was very lucky to get away with his reaction to Hutchinson going down.

Darren Moore seems to have an idea how to keep us at bay. Let's hope we put that right in a promotion party at Portman Road.

You make a good point. I thinkwe have underplayed the reaction by their 4. If a player grabs an opponent with both hands and throws them to the ground, in anger, that is risking a red. Difficult to see that incident as any less bad, especially where the player may have been hurt already. What if he'd wrenched a knee in that challenge or something?

Maybe an argument for post-match citations (same as they have in Rugby) for violent conduct missed by the Ref and his Assistants, but caught on camera?

That wasn't any attempt to "help him to his feet", the bloke picked up Hutchinson by the back of his shirt, then dropped him back on the ground.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
