We were worried about players and the team stepping up ... 11:39 - Oct 4 with 889 views | Darth_Koont | But it seems that McKenna is a better manager at this level than in League One. The more organised and higher quality the opposition, the more his talents (getting the little details right and communicating them clearly to the players) come to the fore. Also, I think it helps us keep him. The risk of him leaving before we reach our ceiling looks less and likely when he is demonstrating to the world and himself that he can achieve his short- and mid-term career ambitions with us.

He's tailoring the club to his needs. Almost sir Bobby like. He's been involved in the pitchworks both at ground and training Ground. Facilities at ground and now heavily involved in the upgrades of the training centre. The next part will be getting the players he wants. That will be key. Nothing will frustrate more if you continue to miss out on players. But that's the only fear at present due to ffp.

The more we look like genine challengers with 27-29K every game, the higher quality we will attract.

We were worried about players and the team stepping up ... on 11:55 - Oct 4 with 786 views | Guthrum | My feeling was that we desperately needed to get out of League One, the land of the low block and 10 men behind the ball, into a place where teams tried to play football more often. Our style suits that far better and would give us a chance to flower.

Absolutely. Plus the games (and the opposition) were much more scrappy and stop-start. Especially if you throw in lower-level match officials and generally poorer pitches. I think the teams who want to spoil, fight and make it a League One scrap but with players capable of moments of real quality will cause us most problems. Basically Huddersfield on recent evidence.
