I know some clubs have a policy of only offering persoanlised signatures so "To YorkshireBlue - squiggle" in attempt to stop people selling off autographed goods.

Yes, saw that earlier. The sense of entitlement gets ever larger as does the sense of victimhood at the biggest clubs in particular.
It's not even necessarily those fans who actually stump up the high prices to watch matches live.
I think it’s somewhat fueled by the disconnect of footballers on 400k a week and elevated to superstar godlike status, so people feel entitled to want a piece of that.
But also down to people having no sense of shame and a general lowering of standards in public life.
I remember being in Charlie Chalk (The Swallow) as a kid and seeing David Johnson in there. My Mum refused to let me and my mates 'bother him'. He clocked us all pointing at him. He then went to his car and pulled out several of those player photos they sell in the club shop and signed them for us. TWTD.

That picture with the Ward-Prowse sign shows how stupid this has become. He has played 7 games for West Ham - how can he be anyone's favourite? The person holding that up needs to have word with themselves.

Didn’t Jimmy Bullard win our player of the year vote after a similar number of appearances?
