As an aside - talking of 'convicts', have you ever seen the TV series 'Banished'? Surprisingly good for the 2 or 3 episodes I saw, and paints a vivid picture of what happened to them in the prison camps they were kept in on arrival. Starved & forgotten about by England was the norm it painted, and that went for the soldiers guarding them too. |  |
