Not great, not terrible. I decided early on to get over any self-righteous indignation I felt about the divergence from the books, and managed to take some enjoyment out of it as a parallel experience. 6/10.

As a striker, it was your Mich D'Avray - a shadow of the real thing and a little disappointing, but some great scenery when he did score against Liverpool and you could just about imagine it was still the good old days. (unfortunately my debut as a kid at Portman Road was the Mich D'Avray era)

I do think that all reviews of tv shows or films etc should be compared to currant or past Town players. I want to see more of this type of review from other posters.

I have no idea, given my relative youth!

I do think that they could have made a TV series much more faithful to the books though, with a bit more mysticism, more extras and simpler wattle and daub architecture. A disfigured Morgan with a golden mask and a more mysterious and imposing Merlin would have helped.

I guess it has to be tuned to Netflix audiences who can't read though! At least there weren't explosions and chariot chases and jumping off tall buildings.
