Champions League 21:20 - Mar 31 with 1420 viewsPerublue

Given the right circumstances which I don't think are now possible this time round, but would I be right in saying that England, with this new format could have up to 7 teams taking part ?

Poll: Is it an issue for you that the new England manager is foreign ?

Cheers for that....that actually sums it up perfectly.
I'm not going to even begin to try and work out how many could be in Europe (Europa and Conference included) in total theoretically....but I'll have a stab at 10 ? ...half the league.

I think we could still have the bare minimum 4 as well if none of our teams win a UEFA trophy. Italy are top of the coefficient table and we are tied with Germany for the other spot currently for who gets an extra spot via their league.

For what it's worth, I see an English clean sweep of the CL, UEL and UECL.

12?
Carabao Cup and FA Cup winners outside the top 8 for Conference and Euorpa League.
the 7 champions league places if the europa league winner and champions league winner finishes outside of the top 8.
6th and 7th get europa league, 8th get conference league.
I think that's how it works now?

I'm split on how I feel if the extra spots should go to the coefficient on the previous season or the ranking (is it 5 seasons? ) I see pluses and minuses for both options.

I guess what I'm doing here is dreaming of us getting up this season and making Europe ... certainly looks more doable than the past..a silly old romantic I am,

Quite common then and likely to become more so.
