Anyway, having ex pros on VAR is a terrible idea full stop, it shouldn't be entertained. There's currently controversy over what allegiances certain referees have, can you imagine how much there'd be if everyone knew what ex players are making decisions?
It's just another show of the sport scrambling desperately to try and fix what it has got so wrong. All it'll do is muddy waters further and cause more controversy and talking points...maybe that's the whole objective? | |

He called the penalty immediately. The barge, he just jumped to a conclusion, but pretty much straight away saw it wasn't anything bad. | |
