Returning to TWTD fresh from receiving my Block D eviction notice 13:37 - Jun 4 with 2774 viewsNorwegian_Blue

After receiving the dreaded email last night, a bit of a palaver on the phones this morning organising switching season tickets following the Cobbold Block D eviction notice. Hopefully I can return in the future if/when they fully redevelop the Cobbold Stand and hopefully they give 'The Evicted 220' first option to relocate. #TheEvicted220

Over give over - an eviction!?

Whilst i have a bit of sympathy for those having to move seats starting things like #TheEvicted 220 does you no favours

Its just what it is. At some point everyone in that stand will have to move. You're just a bit earlier than the others. Others in noth and south stands have moved in the recent past. I have sympathy for the comms which could have been handled better but the moaning and entitlement is really wearing thin now.

I'd rather watch sitting/stanidng on a concrete slab with a slightly restricted view than not be there at all but hey ho we're all different.

Oh...well and truly whooshed in that case...oops

Just a bit fed up with all the noise rgearding this. The club should have handled better granted but they've probably got so much going on behind the scenes that it's maybe not surprsing the comms haven't been as smooth as they should have been.

There arre a few thousand other seats in the satidum that those that need to move will be able to choose from, with whole rows available for those that want to sit together in their groups. Is it really the end of the world.

"with whole rows available for those that want to sit together in their groups". Really? With unrestricted views? Surprising if so.

There are 2 new rows in X block, plus that block was nowhere near sold out to season ticket holders.

After away fans and ST holders there are around 5-6000 tickets available and there were definitely sizeable groups of seats together when tickets went on sale for home matches...mainly upper tier of Sir Alf.

I'm a SAR Lower season ticket holder and happy to be there, but the view from the ends is totally different to a centre line side view. I can well understand someone from D block not fancying a move to the SAR Upper. Block Y would be the only thing comparable.

I think it’s about the ability to access a new seat elsewhere for a good few that sit in D block , a lot are shall we say of an elder generation and the easy access is / was a big factor regardless of cost , blocks X and Y are not that easy especially block Y…….thats all .
