This was a bit like Sunderland (H) this season - a win in a sequence of dropped points, that proved to be vital in the end. Not just for the points gained but for the reassurance that there wasn't a great deal wrong with the performances and if we stuck to the process the results would turn.

Oxford definitely had the measure of us in the opening exchanges and it started off very cagey. Can't remember how long it took to switch things up, maybe after about 20mins or so. But we went a bit more direct and from that moment on were all over them
