Not one that I think ever made the 'seriously interested' list, but definitely a name I saw bandied about on here under the 'Experienced PL Player' heading.

I always wondered if that Luton move was a handy stepping stone for Barkley
Personally I think we need midfielder with some pace, mobility and a good engine to sit next to either Taylor, Luongo or Morsy potentially
I assume the likes of El Miz and Humphreys are either going to be loaned or sold, ball has gone so presumably a blue ribbon midfielder comes in and probably a squad option? |  |
