Shattered, the pub has taken a lot of my time but finally a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.
Would anyone have any good all inclusive ideas, Turkey was great when we went (Fethiye) would go again but prefer to change locations. Would normally be a bit more active and explore/ self catering etc but think I just need to collapse for a bit.

Have you looked at Costa de Jaywick at all? Some interesting local culture... not sure of any All Inclusive deals to speak of though I'm afraid.

Jaywick's Hotel Farage is supposed to be quite good - a bit run down though.

We went to Sarigerme a couple of years back and really enjoyed it.

We stayed at the TUI Magic Life, which was a slightly interesting experience as it turned out that it's a predominantly-German resort.

Before you snicker at our supposed bad luck, it turned out to be one of the best AI holidays we've been on - it was unbelievably laid back and relaxed (although there were plenty of on-site activities), and all of the stereotypes about Ze Germans were well and truly put to bed.

Compare and contrast to the horror stories about the UK-centric resorts that we heard from other British holidaymakers on some of the excursions we went on (4am alarms for sunbeds, daily fights by the pools, everyone sh*tfaced by lunchtime) and we felt that we'd definitely made the right decision.

We'll probably go back again later this year.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

Canary Islands are good for that in particular Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura. For a little bit of mooching plus relax, Madeira is good.

And if you want to go further afield, Mexico is great for an all inclusive chill.

My wife's just got back from Majorca, said it was nice. If your not overly bothered about all inclusive and like some variety (plus reasonable prices) I'd recommend Lefkada in Greece, been there too many times and got married there, beautiful and relaxing.

We've been to Side in Turkey a couple of times. Great Roman ruins.
Can't advise on fully catered though.
