Rosenior getting a good Job. 20:45 - Jul 25 with 1700 viewsNutkins_Return

Pleased to see Rosenior get a top flight job in France. Great experience from him. Really feel like he is the one to watch in terms of contingency planning. Stylistically similar to McKenna and a great man manager. He's on a really good trajectory and getting better all the time.

I believe McKenna is going right to the top. And I'd like us to go for another progressive young manager next again.

Plus he's clearly a fan of the club and knows us well. Good shout.

Agreed. Hull messed up there.

He deserves it after how he was treated at Hull

I still think he has loads to prove. He had a really really good Hull team, and so many times they played horrible slow and paint by numbers football. I know a fair few Hull fans who still weren't overly convinced. Played well in the 3v3 vs us but that. style was a bit of an anomaly.

I would not have sacked him, but I think he gets a lot of credit for not really doing anything impressive yet.

I feel the same, if I'm honest.

Seems like a great guy, but had a lot of quality in his Hull side and ultimately failed to get them into the playoffs. The manager of the season nomination seemed bizarre at the time.

One to watch for the future, but much still to prove. Hope he does well.

Absolutely. Certainly has the temperament and intelligence that I would want from a an ITFC manager.

Seems a lovely guy.

He does have stuff to prove but I've been very impressed with how he sets up teams and carries himself. Saw Hull a few times against some of the big clubs and you can see a well drilled and coached team. Also spoke very very well.

Hull were progressing year on year under him from a low base.

They had a big turnover of players and we know more than most how that takes time even if good players. Also some crucial injuries like to Delap. I think they had a very good team by the end. It not instantly. He had to build into the players the style of play etc.

They made a mistake IMO but the same time they are ambitious and have to make tough decisions. Rosenior needs to keep on developing for sure. But he's a good one I think.
