I know it’s sad but over the last season or so whenever the teams come out and the ground is packed to the rafters and bouncing I look around and get emotional thinking how far we’ve bloody come in such a short space of time, I have the image of how it used to be ingrained - the empty seats (plenty of them) the half hearted atmosphere etc - it’s just bloody great to see it now, so when the players come out on the 17th I reckon I’ll be a mess haha literal dreams coming true for so many of us who never thought we’d see the day, Ipswich Town back at the top table.
Going on Saturday was bad enough, with the memories of May still fresh in the mind it was good to see the old girl again, and got a bit of a lump in my throat when WAKA WAKA was played pre-match.
