Liverpool Fans 12:55 - Aug 18 with 2061 views | BLUEBEAT | I assume it’s already been said in the many post-match threads but I was really disappointed with the Liverpool fans. A little cheering/singing for a few minutes after their goals, but that was it. What’s happened to them? Jaded? Bored? Seen it all before? Where was the love? They used to be non-stop ‘back in the day’. Am beginning to think Leeds fans are right in considering themselves as the best away support in the land, as they truly are relentless. Let’s see what the other Prem teams bring this season.

Liverpool Fans on 13:01 - Aug 18 with 1953 views | Rozz | Agreed, I was saying before the game it'll be great for the atmosphere in the ground to have a 3000 strong away end for the majority of games this season. I was very underwhelmed by their support, but perhaps the top sides turn up now with an expectancy of the result for sides like ours. Might I add they were all good natured, courteous and generally positive about us from what I saw and heard... Just a little quiet!

Having said what I have above, I probably enjoyed yesterday in the SARU a little more for not being drowned out be the away end. The home crowd even up there was bang up for it.

yeah but Ive been to Liverpool games and never experienced them that quiet, slightly different circumstances maybe a cup final instead of a league game against Ipswich, but that was like the prawn sandwich brigade turned out for them. maybe cost, kick off time, its on tv, there are umpteen games per year that are more important. but not what I expected though for sure.
