Some thoughts 16:09 - Sep 29 with 1516 views | phillymark | Clarke is now a permanent starter - wow! His attacking connection with Davis could be something special Only player who was kind of absent for me was Ogbene Obviously a bad error from Greaves, but otherwise he was superb. Some brilliantly timed interventions Hutchinson is so close to being great. Knocked off the ball a couple of times leading to the other team countering (the one near the end was bad but may have been more about the pass he received). Pressures the opposition really well leading to clumsy passes from them. I love him and hope we stick with him Morsy is amazing. But is going to get a yellow every game Delap running at opposition is a threat every time. That jinx he threw for the second goal was incredible. Broke the defenders ankles (to steal an NBA ism) If Haaland had done it, we wouldn't hear the end of it. I had zero issues with Muric today. We should have won, but so encouraged

Some thoughts on 16:33 - Sep 29 with 1325 views | DanTheMan | Think Ogbene suffered the same issue Burns has, not getting the sort of balls that work for him. You want a ball beyond the defender so he can run by but it just didn't happen and we kept going down the left, which was working well in fairness. I do think he did a lot of great defensive work today though.

Yeah, I thought he was decent myself. Not getting beyond the fullback, but doing his defensive work, taking the out-ball, holding it, coming inside often to Morsy etc. and keeping possession. It was a different role for him, and he did it well I thought.

Some thoughts on 16:42 - Sep 29 with 1145 views | SE1blue | No way do I think Morsy was completely innocent today (and felt he was a little lucky to stay on) but I feel for the guy. A number of his yellows come from him having to pick up and sort other players loose play. He cleaned up a lot Omari’s mistakes today.

Some thoughts on 16:42 - Sep 29 with 1132 views | WeWereZombies | Think Ogbene would have made a better showing if he had received the ball more when he was in a good position, not his fault. Jack Clarke had some great moments but I felt he drifted out of the game at times too. Delap was man of the match for me, as well as scoring the goals he was such a constant thorn in Villa's side (as was Omari but there is a bit more edge to Liam.)
