McKenna has very rarely made early subs whilst in charge, subs at 60 is still pretty early for him
He could certainly have made some at half-time
Personally I think a few things need to be changed
O'Shea can't be playing right back
The Phillips Morsy combo needs looking at
Omari needs to play on the right with Chappers or Szmodics starting down the middle
Clarke probably shouldn't be a starter at the moment, I might even consider Delap on the left and Hirst upfront at times
We need to be a little braver on the ball, there have been a lot of what I call unforced errors going forward at times, where we just pass to an opponent under little pressure
I know Everton perhaps sat back deliberately in the last 20 minutes but we looked more like the side last season, which showed some glimmers of hope, which we need to be taking forward |  |
