Yet another fantastic goal for us yesterday 18:21 - Nov 3 with 1161 viewsCopfordBlue

I reckon at least half of the 20 best goals I’ve seen us score in almost 50 years as a supporter have been scored in the McKenna era.

For all the frustrations of VAR, defensive mistakes , individual errors costing usual, a long winless run etc this continues to be a great time to be a supporter.

These really are the best times.

The two years prior to this will take some beating. But here we are being competitive against teams in the premier league. Yes the omens are against us with regards to staying up. And I think we’ll go down for what it’s worth. But to have ridden this ridiculous wave playing the football we’ve played and are now bitterly disappointed and angry to have not taken 4 points from the past 2 games speaks volumes for where we’re at.

I’m angry about yesterday still, but I’ve also allowed myself to reflect on the fact we controlled Leicester until the officials no longer wanted us to.

I’ve just plucked up the balls to watch MOTD and Portman Road looks fookin beautiful too under those lights. It’s like we’re playing at a different ground to where we played 10 years ago.
