or

Certainly how it looks. I don’t know what their relationship is like, but from Vaz’s comments he seemed surprisingly hands off. Surprising because it was his future and chance to play in the PL. It sounds like he left it completely to the agent who then met his (or her) match in Ashton. And given that Vaz said he wanted to stay, you’d have thought he would still be here if he’d been a bit firmer with his agent. Or what he said to us was rubbish.
All speculation of course. Do you know if we were looking for a new number 1 irrespective of Vaz’s contract situation? Sounds like we might have been. Weren’t we linked with a move for Rushworth very early on? |  |
