only downer for me was that the coaches had to park a fair way from the stadium and the powers that be wouldn’t allow them to drop off our disabled supporters next to the ground…meant a bit of a shlep for those in wheelchairs and one poor old boy who had a stick who was on our coach only made it halfway to the ground and had to turn back and sit on the coach thus missing the game…proper gutted for him to miss such a marvelous match…

Wow.... that is really poor

I feel sorry for the guy who had to sit it out. Surely this goes against the spirit and the letter of the Disability Discrimination Act

At the very least they should have some sort of shuttle buggy to ferry anyone who needs it from coaches to ground

Must be worth someone contacting the Accessibility Officer at Portman Road

They need to make reasonable adjustments. Certainly sounds like a breach as to do so would be trivial for them.
