Interesting. The crowd for the Oxford game in 2021 was 21,300. Prior to that in 2019/20 against Blackpool it was 19,500.

Despite a poor start to the season under Cook in 2021, post Covid and takeover, crowds and interest was on the rise. Mid 20k for Cheltenham, obviously a sell out of home support last season against Swansea.

Then you get the comparison of Cheltenham (who we can’t beat), Oxford then Tottenham away in front of 61,000. Boy how times change. For the players who were there in 2022/3, what happens should be a source of immense pride.

The ‘in 5’ coverage improves immensely too.
