From West Ham downwards, we have played 5 teams currently around us in the league table. That’s 5 matches which has accumulated a total of 2pts - Draws against the other two promoted sides; Leicester City and Southampton. In those other games against West Ham, Everton and Crystal Palace last night we’ve looked a distant second best, they all played and toyed with us like cat does with a mouse. That speaks volumes for me that we are short of what is required for this league. We all knew it was going to be tough, perhaps not as much as it is has proved.
